eQ Homes Announces Partnership with Habitat for Humanity Greater Ottawa
.–
Ottawa, ON – Helping families in need create a new path forward, eQ Homes is proud to announce a $50K sponsorship of the Habitat for Humanity's "Kemptville Korners" build in North Grenville.
Honoured to participate in a Build Days on site, eQ executives and staff will work alongside future Habitat homeowners, community members and volunteers to help construct these amazing new homes.
“We’re very proud of our involvement with this project,” says Josh Kardish, Senior Vice President of eQ Homes. “When we talk about building quality homes, it doesn’t just refer to the quality of the materials or craftsmanship, but also quality of life. These new homes in Kemptville Korners are going to provide better quality of life for many deserving families and we’re very thankful for the opportunity to take part in that.”
In partnership with Habitat for Humanity Thousand Islands, Habitat Greater Ottawa will break ground on their newest development, Kemptville Korners, later this year. Located on Concession Road across from the Kemptville District Hospital and near Kemptville Area Family Resource Centre, the 15-unit development will comprise of 6 conventional and 6 stacked townhomes above 3 accessible barrier-free units on the ground floor. Once complete, the new development will support 15 deserving families.
“Kemptville is the home of our very first eQ Homes community and it’s exciting to come full circle with the beginning of a brand-new project in North Grenville,” adds Josh Kardish.
