As part of our commitment to reducing our environmental impact, eQ Homes sponsors reforestation through Tree Canada, the only national non-profit organization dedicated to planting and nurturing trees in rural and urban environments.
After tornadoes hit Ottawa in 2018, we donated to Tree Canada’s ReLeaf program to help local homeowners replant trees that were damaged by the storm. We are also proud to sponsor Tree Canada's Greening Canada's School Grounds grant, providing funds for local children to plant trees on their school's property.
Through our partnership, Tree Canada will ensure that the health and beauty of our environment will endure by planting new trees for every home we build.

For eQ Homes, building homes is about more than bricks and mortar. It’s about designing and constructing safe communities and homes, which is something we share with Habitat for Humanity Greater Ottawa, an organization that builds affordable homes that provide a solid foundation for local families. Partnering with Habitat, has been an extension of the community building we do every day and we are honoured to be among their many loyal supporters.

eQ Homes has partnered with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Ottawa (BBBSO), including
becoming title sponsor for their flagship fundraising event, the annual eQ Homes Big Tee Off
golf tournament. BBBSO offers a variety of mentorship focused programs for local youth with a
wide range of backgrounds and needs, including their flagship “Big Brother” and “Big Sister”
mentoring programs, and the newly established PRISM mentoring program for LGBTQIA2S+ youth. By
matching caring adult volunteers with at-risk youth, they facilitate meaningful and
life-changing relationships that often last for many years. Our support for these initiatives
fit perfectly with eQ Homes’ goal to enrich the lives of people living in the communities we
build.
